Trumpet

Gary has been with Uptown Phunk going on 5 years, and in that time not only has he been great addition to the band, he has also became a great friend.  He is know to all of us as:  "The God Father".

​

Gary started playing Trumpet in 6th grade.  When he got to high school he started playing with a band called Ronnie and The Regents.

 

After Graduation he entered into the Marine Corps, and joined the 3rd Division Marine Band.

​

His favorite Genres are: Funk, R&B, Soul, And Blues.

​

A few other Bands he has performed with are:  The Majestic's, The Levee Band, The Distractions, Orleans, Limited Edition, Cypress  and Refried Confusion.

​

We are blessed to have a player with his talent and personality in our  Band family.
